Overview

This data documentation activity is a one-hour session to deliver update information on documentation practices for providers.  The goal is for providers to have a deeper understanding of the documentation process and tolls to assist them with improved documentation which will result in improved patient outcomes and financial reimbursements.

Target Audience

Physicians, Advanced Practice Providers, Nurses, and Residents System-wide

Learning Objectives

  • Understand clinical documentation's impact of the organization's quality scores and financials
  • Recognize who are and who are not "qualified providers" whose documentation can be used in the coding process
  • Apply elements of accurate and specific documentation
