  • Discuss the development and promise of novel AKI biomarkers to detect AKI earlier and predict its severity
  • Discuss the Renal Angina concept to risk stratify critically ill children with high negative predictive value for developing AKI
  • Discuss the rates of AKI in children receiving nephrotoxic medications
  • Relate the improvements seen in AKI outcomes using a standardized AKI surveillance program in children receiving nephrotoxic medications
