Objectives: 

  • To understand the clinical, financial, and empirical data related to specific medications to make informed decisions.
  • To understand the needs of PRISMA HEALTH physicians and patients related to medication use.  
  • To add/delete appropriate medications to the PRISMA HEALTH formulary and/or limit the use of specific medications based on clinical, financial, and empirical data.  
  • To be fiscally responsible with the PRISMA HEALTH formulary medications.
