Objective(s):
• Compare and contrast DO vs. MD training, with emphasis on OMM education.
• Analyze current evidence regarding the effectiveness and clinical utility of osteopathic manipulative medicine (OMM) in pediatric populations.
• Describe the risks, contraindications, and potential adverse events associated with OMM in children.
• Demonstrate three osteopathic manipulative techniques commonly used in pediatric care, and explain their indications for pediatric patients.
