Objective(s):  

1) Identify common myths in developmental-behavioral pediatrics and explain how they originate and spread through media, culture, and misinterpretation of research. 
2) Describe the impact of medical myths on children, families, clinical practice, and public policy using evidence-based examples. 
3) Apply practical, compassionate strategies to address and dispel myths in clinical encounters using clear communication, reputable evidence, and family-centered approaches.
