Overview:
This activity was designed to provide a sense of shared, human experience among those who care for patients at Prisma Health.
Series Objectives:
1.) For participants to improve their knowledge and consciousness of their authentic feelings and experiences, so that they can then learn how to process them, and use that improved awareness to improve communications with patients, family, and other members of the care team.
2.) For participants to know, and describe how to have authentic, genuine, and even difficult conversations with patients, families, and other members of the care team.
3.) For participants to be able to perform the above mentioned skills in real time for the betterment of patient care, interdepartmental communication, clinician relationships, culture of the institution, and for their own sense of well-being at work.
