The program committee for the Society of Academic Emergency Medicine Southeastern Regional Conference is accepting proposals for didactic sessions for the 2019 meeting. The theme for the 2019 conference will be "Innovation and Collaboration in Education."

Faculty proposals should be directed toward enhancing teaching skills, improving quality of education, educational research, innovation in education, and curriculum development. Faculty education sessions are planned to fall into two formats:
        ►360 Sessions (Three 18 minute talks in 1 hour)
        ►560 Sessions (Five 10 minute talks in 1 hour)

In addition, the committee is also excited to offer sessions featuring resident and Advanced Practice Provider (APP) presentation opportunities:
        ►PechaKucha - 6-7 minute style presentations with a focus on topics pertinent to inservice exam preparation
      ►Simulation Olympics - Compete in high fidelity simulation scenarios with other emergency medicine residents and medical students in a fun, collegial atmosphere. For additional information, please review the details page here: SAEMSoutheast Simulation Olympics Details.pdf
     ►Clinical Pathologic Case (CPC) Competition - Regional CPC event will feature residents presenting interesting cases with faculty discussants working to solve the cases. For additional information, please review the details page here: SAEMSoutheast CPC Details.pdf

Please use the form below for didactic submissions including 360, 560, PechaKucha, Simulation Olympics, and CPC participation. Proposals will be accepted until Monday, December 10, 2018 at 5:00pm EST and notifications of accepted proposals will be made by Friday, December 21, 2018 at 5:00pm EST; final presentations will be due by Friday, February 1, 2019 at 5:00pm EST

Presentations must be submitted to CPC.SAEMsoutheast@gmail.com by November 16, 2018 at 5:00pm. Please note: You will be allowed to update and polish both of your presentations prior to the competition, provided you give no additional case information, such as new exam findings or lab results.
