Post Resuscitation Care 

  • Identify the signs associated with Return of Spontaneous Circulation (ROSC)
  • Effectively manage hemodynamic instability                                
  • Investigate possible causes of cardiac arrest                                
  • Make appropriate treatment choices based on the cause                         
  • Determine appropriate destination
  • Describe the process of induced hypothermia
  • Review Greenville County EMS Clinical Guideline 7.3
Ventricular Assist Devices 
  • Understand the function of ventricular assist devices (VAD)
  • Discuss assessment, management, inventions, and special considerations related to VADs.
