This page provides access to educational activities that support safe prescribing practices, substance use disorder (SUD) care, patient safety, and regulatory requirements related to controlled substances. Activities on this page may qualify for South Carolina Controlled Substance CME requirements and/or the Drug Enforcement Administration's (DEA) MATE Act educational requirements. Live Activities

Live activities provide opportunities to learn from experts, engage in discussion, and earn CME credit. Live activities may include:

  • Committee Learning or Regularly Scheduled Series – Recurring educational activities throughout the year (such as Grand Rounds) in which one or more sessions focus on Controlled Substance Education.
  • Workshop/Course – One-time educational events in which one or more sessions focus on Controlled Substance Education.

Enduring On-Demand Activities

Complete online enduring activities at your own pace. Many activities include standalone modules, allowing you to focus on specific topics while earning CME credit for each completed module.
