2021 Faculty Development Retreat: Faculty Advising and the Struggling Learner

Live interactive learning sessions focused on identification of the struggling adult learner, evaluator responsibilities, best practices for feedback, and an overview of remediation plans for the different deficit categories.

- Understand your responsibilities as an evaluator
- Recognize and implement the key elements of good feedback
- Understand the importance of a documentation paper trail in the process of remediation
- Understand the utility and function of a remediation Success Team
- Be able to build a remediation plan for any identified deficit
- Understand how to assess progress and determine success of a remediation plan
