Series Objectives:
The Opioid Use Disorder (OUD) and Infectious Disease Office Hours is an informal presentation and discussion forum for providers to meet and learn about OUD-related topics. Office Hours begin with a brief presentation followed by Q&A. Providers can drop in between noon-1 p.m. to ask questions or discuss cases. We expect that this informal way of presenting information and cases and answering questions will open more providers up to effectively help those struggling with opioid use disorder and comorbid infectious diseases. The interdisciplinary approach will allow providers to increase knowledge and key competencies and foster partnership with other community resources available for treatment of patients with opioid use disorder with or at risk for infectious diseases.
