Topic: Pulmonary Embolus

Objectives:

1) Discuss community factors which predispose the pediatric population to obesity in the Upstate/Greenville area. 
2) Discuss recent cases of pulmonary embolisms over the last few years and commonalities in the patients.
3) Discuss common pediatric risk factors of pulmonary embolisms.
4) Develop understanding of the diagnosis and management of pulmonary embolisms.
