           Content: Large Joint

  • The first two hours for this will be MSK - as the large joint objectives first.
  • The final hour will be the FAST exam didactic and practice scanning.

Learning Objectives: 

  • Learn large joint: knee and shoulder anatomy identification by ultrasound.
  • Understand indications for large joint aspiration and injection.
  • Appreciate how to conduct large joint aspiration and injection.
  • Review and practice conducting the FAST exam by POCUS.
