Series Objectives: Monthly interdisciplinary review of significant child abuse inpatient evaluations. Cases are presented by the child abuse pediatrics provider with input from specialists involved in the case (ophthalmology, neurosurgery, radiology). The aim is to aid in the diagnosis of child abuse and neglect, to improve the process of inpatient management, and to work with investigative parties in cases of child maltreatment.

Beginning 1/1/2026, this activity will now offer MOC for those learners who are certified with the American Board of Pediatrics.

“Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the activity and individual assessment of and feedback to the learner, enables the learner to earn up to 1 MOC point in the American Board of Pediatrics’ (ABP) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program for each certified session. It is the CME activity provider’s responsibility to submit learner completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABP MOC credit.”
