2026 Human Trafficking Awareness and Response for Healthcare Providers

This learning opportunity will highlight commonalities among human trafficking victims and how healthcare providers can offer assistance to those victims who present for medical care in any healthcare facility. Available resources for these patients will be discussed. Click here to register.

Target Audience

Primary Department: Emergency Medicine

Secondary Departments: Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, OB/GYN, Pediatrics, Other: all community providers to include stand-alone clinics and health departments

As a result of participating in this educational activity, learners will...

  • Be able to identify common red flags of human trafficking
  • Understand legal obligations and be able to provide patients with community resources available to victims of trafficking
