AI and Clinical Judgment: What Machines Miss

November 20, 2025

This session emphasizes why clinical judgment is critical as AI becomes part of medicine: contextual nuance, uncertainty management, patient values, empathy, and trust. Using case-based walkthroughs (end-of-life care, chronic pain, diagnostic uncertainty), it demonstrates why clinical judgment remains the anchor of safe and ethical practice, and how to integrate AI without losing those essential skills.
