Topic: The Ideal Team Player

Objective(s):

  1. Assess personal effectiveness as a team member by reflecting on humility, work ethic (“hungry”), and interpersonal awareness (“people-smart”) within interprofessional clinical teams using a structured self-assessment.  
  2. Integrate Ideal Team Player principles into clinical practice by demonstrating collaborative behaviors, clear communication, and mutual support in patient care settings involving physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.  
  3. Create a targeted professional development plan based on self-assessment results to enhance teamwork, accountability, and emotional intelligence in high-acuity and fast-paced healthcare environments.
