The Jagged Frontier: Where AI Works, Where It Fails, and Why That Matters for Clinicians
This lecture explores the uneven “jagged edge” of AI performance in medicine—where AI excels (radiology triage, dermatology, pathology, administrative support) and where it breaks down (rare diseases, population bias, workflow mismatch, unstable data, ethical missteps). Through real-world case examples and an interactive exercise, participants will learn to evaluate which tools to trust, how to integrate AI safely, and where caution is warranted.
