Topic: Snake Envenomation

Objectives:

1. Learn the types of venomous snakes in the region.

2. Develop an understanding of the natural history of a venomous snakebite in the pediatric patient.

3. Learn the indications for medical treatment for snakebites and when surgical intervention is indicated.
