Regularly Scheduled Series Activity Coordinator Training

This course will review the steps in managing a regularly scheduled series (RSS) CME activity. 

The CME office is here to assist you with planning educational activities and to support and optimize physician/clinician learning for professional growth and performance.​ The University of South Carolina School of Medicine Greenville is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians. As a result, our office will also ensure your educational activities comply with ACCME standards.​ As the activity coordinator you are responsible for also ensuring your activity complies with ACCME standards by serving as the activity’s point of contact and following our guidance.​ By using our Smartsheet platform and communicating activity information, we can collaborate as activity coordinator and CME coordinator.​

Module 1: Smartsheet Activity Schedule (SAS) Overview​
  • Locate your Smartsheet Activity Schedule.
  • Recall the tools and steps used to update your Activity Schedule. ​
  • Identify the columns you will be required to complete within your Activity Schedule.  ​
  • Interpret the reminder notifications sent to you throughout the year. 
Module 2: The Financial Relationship Disclosure Process​
  • Identify how the financial relationship disclosure process improves communication and process flow time​
  • Interpret the different scenarios that might arise from utilizing the financial relationship disclosure process tools within your Smartsheet Activity Schedule​
Module 3: Tips, Best Practices, and Final Reminders​
  • Communicate your activity session information effectively using Smartsheet software techniques​
  • Identify when updated activity session dates will be requested by the CME office​
