Series Objectives:
This Foregut Conference will combine expert surgeons and GIs from their respective fields to discuss ongoing patient care for difficult cases that often require the expertise of both fields. This also serves as a forum to discuss new techniques and literature supporting these techniques. This will hopefully lead to collaborative innovation between specialties which can drive future research, all while continuing to provide excellent patient care. Finally, the inclusion of fellows and other trainees offers an educational opportunity in a complex field and also demonstrates excellent teamwork and professional collaboration.
Series Target Audience:
Surgeons, GI’s, fellows, residents, medical students
