The Medical Care Committee (MCC) meets monthly to discuss quality indicators, best practices, and get feedback and action plans on opportunities as they arise. The committee gets updates from administrative staff, departmental staff, nursing, and operational updates specific to the facility. MCC meetings are a valuable opportunity to develop and improve the planning and coordination of activities that have a system-wide impact. MCC meetings bring a wide variety of voices and collective wisdom to bear on important issues, problems, and changes facing patient quality of care and patient satisfaction. Each meeting enhances members’ sense of ownership and importance by ensuring meaningful and productive participation in decisions and solutions.
