Spotlight: Primary Care Conference
This year’s conference will include a pre-conference skills workshop covering basics of skin and soft tissue ultrasound and common outpatient skin biopsy procedures. Led by skilled clinicians in family medicine, internal medicine, and dermatology, this activity will serve as an excellent introductory session for the novice or a great review for those with prior experience.
The conference will be a full day of high-level content reviews delivered by local experts in a variety of topics of interest for a busy primary care clinician. Attendees can expect to gain practical tips to improve clinical performance and discuss new trends emerging in primary care delivery.

Pre-Conference Workshop- Friday, January 10th, 1:00-5:30 pm: Registration price includes participation in a 4-hour session that includes 2 hours of skin and soft tissue ultrasound and evaluation of carpal tunnel and 2 hours of skin and soft tissue procedural training. Participants for this session should be prepared to practice ultrasound skills on other participants and will rotate serving as both examiner and standardized patient. Lunch is not provided for this session, but light refreshments will be served during a scheduled break between sessions. There will be a maximum of #40 attendees for the workshop (#20 in each group) to maximize participation.
Pre-Conference Workshop Cost: All Attendees: $80.00
Spotlight: Primary Care- Saturday, January 11th, 7:00-5:30 pm: Registration price includes all sessions, lunch, and light refreshments during scheduled breaks. All registration fees are paid through the site via debit or credit card, and no refunds will be given after August 15, 2024.
