Series Description:
The vision for the palliative care monthly education sessions is to foster clinical growth and excellence. Our intent is to discuss current/new evidence-based guidelines for best practices in patients with serious illness, complex symptoms management, ethical dilemmas, decision-making, and sensitive goals of care conversations. The sessions will be geared primarily towards physicians and advanced practice providers. This will allow a space for expanding the knowledge base, exploring case-based discussions, and building confidence for meaningful delivery to the core values of palliative care, which ultimately enhances quality care to patients.
