11th Annual South Carolina Pediatric Trauma & Injury Prevention Symposium
Overview
The 11th Annual SC Pediatric Trauma and Injury Prevention Symposium is a statewide multidisciplinary learning event designed to improve the level of competence for health care professionals involved in the care of injured children. This year, in light of the COVID-19 Pandemic, the symposium will be held virtually through Zoom from the Greenville One Center.
Content focuses on the management of the injured child beginning in the pre-hospital setting and continues through their arrival in the hospital emergency department, hospitalization and subsequent discharge. Patient cases and considerations for treatment are shared, and injury prevention strategies integrated throughout.
