50th Annual Greenville Orthopaedic Day
Greenville Orthopaedic Day is designed to provide 4 didactic lectures on specific subspecialty topics. This year's topic is on Pediatric Orthopaedics with lectures given by guest speakers Dr's. Steven Frick and Peter Newton. There will be a period for discussion and questions after each presentation. We will also have case presentations by the residents with commentary by our guest lecturers and a question-and-answer session around their personal and professional experiences. Our goals for this year's Greenville Orthopaedic Day are:
- To educate our residents, staff, and community physicians on how to be an effective leader with personal stories from nationally renowned orthopaedic surgeons.
- To learn new information regarding various orthopaedic subspecialty topics
- To learn techniques and best practices for the care of the patient recovering from surgery.

Learning Objectives
As a result of participating in this educational activity, learners will...
- Be more effective leaders at the institutional and societal levels, and learn how to innovate safely in surgery.
- Know how to educate and assess the competence of the next generation of surgeons.
- Know how to provide optimal care for pediatric elbow fractures, thereby directly improving our patients' health.
