The research committee for the Society of Academic Emergency Medicine Southeastern Regional Conference is accepting abstract submissions for presentation of original research, systematic reviews, and quality improvement projects.

All abstracts must be submitted through the main SAEM website. The deadline for submissions is Thursday, January 2, 2020 and the submitting author will be notified of abstract acceptance by Monday, January 20, 2020. Decisions for acceptance to the national meeting will be sent out on February 1, 2020.

Please select that you would like your abstract to be considered for acceptance to this regional meeting during the submission process. As always, any submission can opt for acceptance to BOTH The regional and national meetings. Submission and acceptance to the regional meeting does not preclude acceptance and presentation at the national meeting. In addition, abstracts accepted for presentation at the SAEM Southeastern Regional Conference will have the opportunity to be published on the SAEM website. 

Abstracts will be presented as a digital PDF poster and limited to 2050 characters not including spaces, about 300-325 words. No tables or figures will be allowed in the abstract submission process, but will be permitted if accepted for presentation. Presenters MUST register for the SAEM Southeastern Regional Conference.
