Learning Objectives
This activity will increase learner knowledge by educating providers on the PECARN criteria and its appropriate utilization.
This activity will increase learner competence by introducing indications for not performing a head CT in a child with minor pediatric head trauma.
This activity will increase performance need by identifying how to decrease inappropriate CT utilization in the pediatric population, thereby decreasing pediatric radiation exposure.
