Vanderbilt Regional Hematopathology Conference 2023
Overview
Overview
The conference is held annually and alternates yearly between Vanderbilt University Medical Center and a hosting site from a former trainee. The conference is case-based with a focus on hematopathology, with time for case discussion after each presentation. Case previews are sent to all participants approximately one week prior to the conference. The full case is then presented at the conference for 10 mins with 5 mins of discussion. Each case will be presented by a different individual.
Target Audience
Pathology and Oncology: Practicing Physicians
As well as: Residents, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, Registered Nurses, and Medical Students
Learning Objectives
By applying current literature to real-world cases and discussing those cases among a group of knowledgeable, experienced pathologists, everyone’s knowledge base increases with the ability to recognize potential pitfalls and learn appropriate ancillary studies to arrive at the correct diagnosis for appropriate therapeutic management.

Accreditation

Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn 6.0 credits in the American Board of Pathology's (ABPATH) Continuing Certification (CC) program. Participants will earn CC points equivalent to the amount of CME credits claimed for this activity. It is the CME activity provider's responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABPATH CC credit.
